Step 1) Download the ISO

Garuda LinuxThe first step in installing Garuda Linux is to download the ISO image file. Currently, there are 10 Garuda Editions available. So head over to the official Garuda Download page and download the ISO file of your choice.

Once you’ve downloaded the Garuda Linux ISO file, take a 16GB USB drive and create bootable USB installation media using Rufus, Balena Etcher or other software to write the image files to the USB drive.

Step 2) Boot the system with the installation media

With the installation media available, connect to your PC and reboot the system. Make sure to set the bootable USB drive to have the highest boot priority and continue booting.
